Candidates are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling the online application available on the Open Testing Service (OTS) website along with this official advertisement.
Candidates are advised to fill correct information (personal, educational and experience) in the online application. No changes will be accepted after submission of application.
INSTRUCTIONS AND GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- All appointments will be purely on one year contract with a probation period of 3 months (extendable on satisfactory performance) on a market based lump sum package, non-pensionable, without long term benefits and will not be converted into permanent posts at a later stage.
- M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) will charge 50% of the open fee from the applicant and the remaining 50% will be paid by LESCO, hence each applicant will pay Rs. 80/- to the testing agency.
- Only candidates who have completed their degree are eligible to apply. Candidates who have not been issued their final result card or are awaiting result will not be considered.
- Applicants already serving in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Institutions/SOEs should apply through proper channel. Advance copy of application, Bodies/SOEs should apply through proper channel. Advance copy of application, however, can be sent without obtaining NOC. Candidate will not be allowed to appear for interview, if he fails to produce NOC from the concerned department.
- General relaxation in age has already been included in the above age. No further relaxation of age is allowed in the prescribed age limit except relaxation of 3 years in age for Scheduled Caste and Buddhist candidates. Relaxation of 10 years in the above age limit will be given to the disabled as well as to Government servants who have completed two years of continuous government service as on the last date.
- All relevant quotas will be observed as mentioned against each post.
- Candidates applying against 20% LESCO Employees Children Quota will have to ensure a certificate signed by Dy. Manager regarding the employment of the father (died after retirement in LESCO) confirming that no child/dependent of the employee has been posted against 20% employee children quota.
- Candidates applying against 20% LESCO Employees Children Quota (ECQ) will have to attach CNIC of the father’s mother and provide an affidavit that his/her brother/sister or widowed mother is not already included in this quota. Concealment of facts regarding posting of any brother/sister or widowed mother will lead to disqualification of the applicant at any stage of recruitment.
- Applicants selected for appointment against 20% LESCO employees’ children quota will be entitled to a further relaxation of 5 years in the prescribed age limit.
- Applicants applying for 2% disabled quota (where applicable) should enclose a disability certificate from the Assessment Board for Disabled Persons of the City/District/Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons.
- The candidate’s disability will be examined by the WAPDA Medical Board i.e. fit for the duties of the post.
- Applicants applying for more than one post will have to apply separately for each post.
